During the 1960s and 1970s The Process Church of the Final Judgment, which originated in London in 1966, expanded across the United States, Canada and Mexico. It was a cult—not unlike L. Ron Hubbard’s Scientology—from which it sprang. It was occult in nature preaching the union of Christ, Jehovah, Lucifer and Satan. The founders were Mary Ann MacLean and Robert de Grimston who were known as the “Omega”. Beneath them were the masters, then the priests, followed by the prophets and messengers sitting at the bottom of the hierarchy. Devotees wore black cloaks, the Satanic “Goat of Mendes” (which is also known as Baphomet) and a swastika-like symbol.
They came to the general public’s attention in the aftermath of the satanic murders in the summer of 1969 by the Manson family. Prosecutors had begun to investigate whether there were links between The Process and Charles Manson.
However, Manson isn’t the only notorious psychopath linked to The Process—Jimmy Savile is also found within the pages of their magazine. His last name is spelled wrong—Saville vs the correct Savile. This appears to be intentional…
