Apollo 11 moon landing
Meshulam Riklis's Playtex was given the contract by NASA to design the spacesuits worn by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Then, there's what Riklis said when Armstrong died.
When I made the discovery several decades ago that Meshulam Riklis, my abuser’s father, was given the government project (with NASA) to make the spacesuits for the Apollo 11 moon mission, I was stunned. The suits were prominently worn by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. There was a third astronaut, Michael Collins, and he got one too. Playtex (a Riklis-owned company) made the spacesuits. Riklis continued getting U.S. government contracts, including with NASA, throughout his life.
